yay a puppy

yep we actually got a puppy i can't believe it ever since my family had to get rid of our dog reggie when i was really young i've always wanted a dog now finally i have one his name is Toby i love him to death any advice is certainly welcome since i have no idea what i'm doing

unexpected haircut (unwanted too i cried twice)

yes my daughter played with scissors but only because the 5 year old suggested it and gave her the haircut while chesly only cut a few pieces of the 5 year old's hair its ok now its growing out it's just really messy now

so at the end of may most of you know me and my girls went to oregon to visit family and friends well the main reason we went was because the sellers was having a family reunion but that wasn't until july so why was i going so early well my sister was graduating at the beginning of june and i hadn't seen any of my friends or extended family for about a year so i figured i had some catching up to do i had such a great time getting together with all my friends and family and showing off my new baby so finally it was time for the reunion i was so excited my husband came to join us for it i had a blast even though for me it only lasted 3 days because on sunday night i broke my ankle how? you ask well my brother had a ripstick those new skateboards with only 2 wheels i couldn't even get on the dang thing and my husband tried it and really liked so while we were camping he would use it often and i was bored so i decided to learn how to skateboard i was getting the hang of it and i would lose my balance every once in a while but i was very good at catching it too well this time i didn't also i was wearing flip flops (so just a word of advice don't wear flip flops on skateboards something my mom always said put some shoes on) i fell on my foot after it rolled and i heard 2 cracks i could not walk on it it hurt so bad the worst thing ever the next day i went to the hospital they said it was broken and they would have to do surgery so my mom suggested we go back to her house and see someone there so we did surgery was scheduled for wednesday i went in and my foot was too swollen and we had to go home the next tuesday the soonest they could do the surgery was monday but then i wouldn't be able to go home and paul couldn't get any more time off to be able to stay so we planned to go home and have surgery but that weekend i couldn't move my foot hurt so bad so we asked pauls commander and they said yes one more week so i had the surgery and got 9 screws and a plate in my foot and couldn't walk for 6 weeks that was a fun vacation but i probably won't plan a 2 month vacation in the same place again i missed my home and alot of people thought i was gone for good

procrastinator again

of course i'm the queen i don't blog enough then when i have stuff to blog it feels like too much and i get overwhelmed and just keep putting it off maybe i should quit doing that
